About Ginya Izakaya
We are a Japanese " Izakaya" restaurant ". Izakaya" translate as " Stay(I)-Sake(Zaka)- store(Ya)", since the origin was a Sake shop that served little bites for the customers who wanted to drink on the premises of the store that could date back to 9th century. Most of our dishes are for sharing with your friends and fellow diners just like Tapas style. Sushi, array of small plates and Ramen noodle is our specialty. We do have a long list of Sake to accommodate your meal along with local craft beer, Shochu, and wine. Come join us for a Japanese Izakaya experience, Kanpai!

My food was very flavorful, fresh and delicious! The staff was very attentive and nice! I came for a solo birthday dinner! I did not feel awkward at all. I will definitely be back for another solo date!

If you ever want a real test of whether a sushi spot is the real deal, just look at whoβs dining thereβand Ginya Izakaya passes that test easily. When you see Japanese customers regularly eating there, thatβs a strong signal youβre getting authentic cuisine, not a watered-down version. And that authenticity shows up in the food. Food Breakdown The lineup delivered across the board: Yellowtail β clean, buttery, and incredibly fresh. It had that smooth texture and subtle richness you expect from high-quality fish, with zero off taste. Red Dragon Roll β a standout. Bold flavor, great balance, and layered perfectly. This is one of those rolls that carries the meal. Shrimp Spring Rolls β light, crisp, and well-executed. Not greasy, with a satisfying crunch on the outside and well-seasoned shrimp inside. A solid starter that sets the tone. Drinks The whiskey was on point. Smooth, properly poured, and paired well with everything on the table. They clearly take their bar program seriously. Overall Experience Service was consistent and reliableβattentive without hovering. Everything came out in a timely manner, and the experience felt polished from start to finish. Final Verdict This is a p

Japanese food here is so delicious. We ordered Udon, tempura, sushi, shrimp, squid, crispy chicken skin, sashimi and more. They also have many choices of alcohol. The waitress was very nice. The atmosphere was great as well. The price was reasonable for everything. They provide soy sauces and chili flakes on the table for you.

A really nice izakaya. A small piece of Japan away from Japan. Now it's not perfect but it's a feel that's close to the the izakayas of Japan. It's a bit brighter and less smoky. (Charcoal smell) But it's close for when you can't get there. Food wise it's spot on for what is served over in Japan. From the karaage to the Curry Udon bowl π. We order a few appetizers Goyza, Salt Chicken Skewers, Sara Shioyaki, Pork Kimchi, Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlet). We also ordered the Beef Curry Udon Noodle bowl which was very good. The service was good. Not great. It was a bit busy and the ObΓ£san had forgotten a couple of things and I got 2 cracked glasses when I ordered my Drink. But overall it's a really good place to have some authentic Japanese foods without having to travel to Japan. Or even when you're missing those really good foods.

This Japanese restaurant has a timeless interior and staff that reflect its long-standing history. The menu is thoughtfully designed with smaller portions at reasonable prices, allowing us to try a variety of flavors in one visit. Though the seasoning leaned a bit salty, the portions were just enough to satisfy without feeling heavy. A well-balanced dining experience β both flavorful and light.
